TOUR PROGRAM
Get started:Travel to Sapa’s taxi take you
to Hanoi Railway Station for the night train at at 9:30 PM to get to Laocai
Station. Sleep on the train.
Day 1: (Saturday) Sapa-Ma Tra-Ta Phin –Sapa (B,L,D)
Picks you up at Lao Cai railway station and transfers you to Sapa for 1 hour. Have a breakfast and then take a car ride 5 km to the North East of Sapa. From here, take off car
to visit Matra village of the H’mong people. After this village, do a 4-hour
trek through the mountain and reach Taphin village – a handy craft traditional
village of 2 different minorities: the Red Dzao and the Black H’mong. The
village is surrounded by mountains and the landscapes are beautiful. Have picnic
lunch at village. In the afternoon, the car wait for you and take you back to
Sapa Trekking distance 10 km
Day2: (Sunday) Muong Hum Market (B,L,D)
After having breakfast in Sapa we go to the Muong Hum Market by a van. It takes us 2 hours to get there. This is a colourful market situated in a small village in the mountain. You will see several different minority groups here but mainly the Flower H’mong people. The local people come here not only to buy and sell clothes, vegetables, meat and cattle but eat and drink wine together as well. In the afternoon we have 2 hour trek up to Nam Pung village where we can meet Ha Nhi ethnic group and understand little more about their lifestyle. After the village we go back to Lao Cai for the night train to Hanoi. The end of tour
