TOUR PROGRAM
Get started: Travel to Sapa'taxi take you to Hanoi Railway Station for the night train at 9:30 PM to get to Laocai Station. Sleep on the train.
Day 1: (WED) Sapa-Laochai-Tavan-Sapa (B,L,D)
Picked up at Laocai Railway station early in the morning by car. Arrive at Sapa
round 8:00 AM. Check in hotel, breakfast and shower. Start trekking to Muong Hoa valley to visit 2 villages of the H’mong and
the Dzay. Lunch at a family of the Dzay minority. Car back to Sapa in the
afternoon. Spend the night at hotel.
Day 2: (THU) Tam Duong Thursday Market (B,L,D) You first travel by car uphill toward Tram Ton. On the way, you can take
a short walk to the Silver Waterfall and then head to Heaven's Gate, where you
will be amazed by breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains including MountFansipan,
the highest peak
of Indochina. Your ride
will be mostly downhill toward Binh Lu. You will stop by ChuVavillage
of Flower H'mong for a
break before you arrive in Binh Lu. Here you will have lunch in a local
restaurant. After lunch, you will drive along a dirt road to the villages, which are set in
a beautiful valley of terraced rice paddies surrounded by mountains. You will
have time to stop by Pa Pen village
of Lu minority. Here you
can take a walk around the village as well as visit a local school. Back to Sapa in the afternoon and then take the private car to Lao Cai station to get the night train back to Ha Noi. The end of the tour.
